Dinner with Magrit Mondavi and her Robert Mondavi wines

Amazing dinner with Margrit Mondavi at SoHo Beach House.  She is charming.  The Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 and 1999 were exceptional.  When I raved about the wine, she mentioned that her husband, Bob Mondavi always said “cabernet sauvignon should have the softness of a baby’s bottom and the strength of a paparazzi.”
